Wondering how to throw a bullet pass in Madden 23? We've got you covered.

Having a strong passing game is, of course, essential to a fun and effective offense in football and Madden 23 is no exception. Here's a breakdown of how to throw a bullet pass in Madden 23.

How to Throw a Bullet Pass in Madden 23

Thankfully, for those who've played Madden in years past, the controls for throwing a bullet pass remain the exact same in this year's game.

This is also the case with just about all the other Advanced Passing mechanics, including the Lob Pass and the Touch Pass.

To throw a bullet pass in Madden 23, all you need to do is hold down the receiver button you're targeting the whole way through the animation. For example, if you want to hit your X/A receiver, hold down the X/A Button until the ball is out of your QB's hands.

The bullet pass is best used when your receiver is being covered tightly and you need to zip the ball into their hands. Slants, curls and most routes that cut in across the middle are usually the best situations for this as your throwing window is usually pretty small in that area of the field, so getting the ball there quickly is important.

Madden NFL 23 is available now on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via EA app, Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store).
