Initially making its series debut in NBA 2K19, the Rebirth system is back on both the Current and Next Gen versions of NBA 2K22. For those looking to take advantage of the reintroduced feature and create the guard or big man build they've always wanted, here's a breakdown of how to unlock Rebirth save files in NBA 2K22 MyCareer on Current Gen and Next Gen.
How to Unlock Rebirth in NBA 2K22: Current Gen and Next Gen
To unlock the ability to use Rebirth save files, players must complete a new quest:
- Current Gen: Reach 90 OVR and play 10 3v3 games on Deck 15
- Next Gen: Play 10 3v3 or 2v2 games in the City at 90 overall or above
After completing the quest, players will earn the Rebirth reward, which allows you to choose between a normal save file or a Rebirth save file when creating a new MyPlayer.
Rebirth saves, which are unlimited, will start players off with 10 pre-completed MyPoints levels and up to 20 Badge points on Current Gen, and the opportunity to jump to a 90 overall, up to 30 Badge points and previously earned pre-draft quest prizes on Next Gen.
Keep in mind that Rebirth build technically do have a head start in Badges and Attribute upgrade progress, players will still have to spend upwards of 200,000 VC to get their builds maxed out.
