The Wakizashi sword was released in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone during the Season One Reloaded content drop and many players are scrambling to unlock this new melee weapon. Here is a quick guide on how you can unlock the Wakizashi in Warzone.

How to Unlock the Wakizashi in Warzone

In order to unlock the Wakizashi in Warzone, players must complete the following challenge:

"Execute 2 finishing moves in 10 different matches with the combat knife."

As the challenge is exactly the same as it is for Black Ops Cold War you will probably find it a heck of a lot easier to do it through the normal multiplayer method, the guide for which you can find here. But if you are feeling up to the challenge of hunting down unsuspecting victims in the expansive Warzone maps then here is how you can go about it.

For starters you'll want to create a warzone loadout that will allow you to traverse across the battle royale arena. SMGs like the Mac-10, the AK74u or the MP5 (both versions) should provide you with ample firepower incase your assassination attempts go south. The Tracker perk is a must have for this challenge as it will allow you to tail your unsuspecting victims, making it easier for you to find an opportune moment to get a couple of executions. You'll also need to make sure you have Ghost equipped as well to avoid any chance of someone spotting you with a UAV or heartbeat sensor. Speaking of which, a heartbeat sensor would also be a good thing to have as it means you'll be able to roughly work out the exact location of your targets.

We would advise that for this particular challenge that you avoid going to Rebirth Island for this as the small and fast-paced nature of the map probably won't leave you with much wiggle room to work with. Your best bet would be to stick to some of the more well populated areas of Verdansk like Downtown, the Airport, or some of the smaller towns as they will provide you with ample places to sneak around and get a couple of executions off. You'll also probably want to stick to Duos or Solos for this challenge as it will be easier to catch someone off-guard in a small skirmish than it would be in a full force team fight or two.
