Is Jurassic World Evolution 2 coming to the Switch?

Jurassic World Evolution 2 has now been given a Nov. 9 release date, and players of all consoles are excited to get their hands on this upcoming sequel. But amidst all the excitement to return to manage the famous dinosaur park once again, players wonder if Jurassic World Evolution 2 will come to the Switch.

The sequel to the first title released in 2018, Jurassic World Evolution 2 will feature a brand-new story, new locations, and new dinosaurs. This entry of the management simulation series was first shown at E3 2021 and recently received its release date at the recent Gamescom 2021, alongside all the consoles it will release on. Players are tasked with creating and managing their own Jurassic World, complete with both the theme park and micromanaging the dinos themselves. The first entry was met with positive reviews, and the second game is shaping up to deliver more and then some.

Is Jurassic World Evolution 2 Coming to the Switch?

Despite its presence on the other mainstream consoles, Jurassic World Evolution 2 is currently not slated for any kind of release on the Nintendo Switch. As things are right now, only the Xbox and Playstation consoles are receiving this entry, in addition to PC platforms Steam and Epic Games Store.

It’s worth noting that this same instance also occurred with the first entry back in Jun. 2018, where Jurassic World Evolution’s launch saw no Switch release until quite some time. It was Nov. 2020 when Switch players could finally have an opportunity to try their hand at managing the park with the Complete Edition’s release. There’s speculation that this could happen again, though it means waiting quite a bit of time.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is slated to release on Nov. 9 on Xbox and Playstation consoles, as well as Steam and Epic Games Store.
