With the debut of the Therian Forme Forces of Nature trio, trainers are wondering if Landorus is a good choice in Pokemon GO.

Thanks to Niantic Lab's newest long-term event, the Season of Legends, trainers can encounter the Forces of Nature trio as the centerpieces of the season. Landorus, Thundrus, and Tornadus have officially crash-landed in local neighborhoods all over the world. Impressive as they may be, however, some trainers still have their reserves about adding certain members to their party.

Here's what we can tell you about Landorus.

Pokemon GO Landorus Guide

Landorus is a ground and flying-type, and one of the three legendary Pokemon that make up the Forces of Nature. Its stats are as follows:

Maximum CP: 4057
Attack: 261
Defense: 182
Stamina: 205
Total HP: 184

It is vulnerable against water-types and twice as weak against ice-types. On the flip side, it is resistant to attacks from bug, electric, fighting, poison, and twice as strong against other ground-types.

Landorus' best moveset contains the quick move Mud Shot and the charged move Earth Power.

Clearly, Landorus is a phenomenal choice for trainer battles in Pokemon GO. Its high CP ceiling, attack stat, and stamina make it a formidable opponent capable of dealing massive amounts of damage while staying in the fight. It can easily go head to head with some of the true PvP powerhouses such as Groudon, Dialga, Metagross, Garchomp, and more.

Its long list of resistances also make it a star choice in high-tier raids or the optimal pick for soloing lower tiers. This also applies to Team GO Rocket battles.

Also known as the "Abundance" Pokemon, Landorus is best known for imbuing the soil with nutrients and making it possible for plant life to grow. Its PokeDex number is 645. While Incarnate Forme Landorus has been in-game since Mar. 31, 2020, its Therian form has yet to make a full appearance.
