Kirby and the Forgotten Land A Trip to Alivel Mall Mission Guide

A Trip to Alivel Mall is the fifth stage of the Natural Plains area in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, coming with its own set of missions revolving around finding hidden Waddle Dees, doughnuts and more.

Of course, completing this stage is not only essential for advancing in the game, but it also progresses players towards unlocking the Waddle Dee Café. With the highly-anticipated action-platformer game finally out now for Nintendo Switch, here's a breakdown of how to complete all of the A Trip to Alivel Mall Missions in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

How to Complete the A Trip to Alivel Mall Stage

Ultimately, A Trip to Alivel Mall has a total of five missions that can easily be completed all at once in under 10 minutes:

• Clear the A Trip to Alivel Mall stage
• Save the hidden Waddle Dees
• Eat 4 Doughnuts
• Eat an Invincible Candy
• Navigate the mall without getting lost

From the beginning of the stage, feel free to loot, fight and work your way up the escalators and to the east. At the part where two escalators meet at an elevated point, the first mochi doughnut will be sitting on a table behind some boxes.

From there, head east to find the red and white lollipop Invincible Candy sitting on a blue couch.

Head north up the stairs, but before heading into the next section, hit the bomb block on the left reveal a hidden ladder to the second floor. Climb the ladder and follow the path all the way around to the bottom right to find the first hidden Waddle Dee.

Next is the first part of the "navigate the mall without getting lost" sequence, which requires players to swallow storage containers and shake them loose to reveal the correct path through the entire level. Swallow the pink and black storage lockers in the second area to reveal a hint that says to make a right before passing the burger shop.

Following that route, the second hidden Waddle Dee will be sitting in the red treasure chest of the next room.

From there, keep going east, defeat Wild Frosty, head north and keep following the path until you reach an area with four conveyor belts running in a circle around a center of spikes. Be sure to Inhale the frosty to get the Ice Copy Ability along the way. Then, freeze and clear the fiery stumps blocking the ladder in the top left, click the switch and save the third Waddle Dee.

Before leaving the circular conveyor belt area, step on the sparkling spot on the bottom right corner to reveal the second mochi doughnut.

In the next area, head east to find a second set of pink and black storage lockers to tip over, which indicates that Kirby should make a left before passing the cake shop. To get the full clue, however, tip over the green storage unit east to reveal a hidden room that includes a missing piece of the map. As such, Kirby should make a left where the cake and ice cream shop are across from another, which is the very last left in the food court.

Following that route, the fourth and final Waddle Dee will be sitting in the chest on the stage in the room.

The third doughnut is also in this room, which is found by stepping on the sparkling spot on the table to the left of the stage, causing the treat to appear on the table all the way to the left in this room.

Finally, head to the final room in the stage, but before clearing the stage, use the yellow ladder in the top right corner to find the fourth and final mochi doughnut.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land was released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2022.
