Korthia, the City of Secrets: What to Do Every Day
Chains of Domination released on June 29 and with it came a new zone, Korthia, the City of Secrets. As is customary with any new World of Warcraft patch, new zones bring a myriad of content, be it dailies, treasure hunting, or reputation grinding. Here is what to do every day in Korthia, the City of Secrets.
Korthia, the City of Secrets: What to Do Every Day
Main Story Questline
There are a handful of things to do in Korthia but first, players will start out with the Main Story Quest of the zone. Identical to all Covenants, the questline will introduce some of the bosses to come in the new Sanctum of Domination raid. Answers on their whereabouts of The Primus will be uncovered as well as Odyn, Tyrande, Kael’Thas, Lady Vashj, Elune and others will have new developments.
Daily Quests and Vendors
Korthia has several daily quests for players to complete, they all include killing, clicking and bar-filling quests. Players will also go through a lengthy zone-wide questline involving the Attendants of Korthia.
The rewards for these quests range from the usual gold, Anima, reputation and catch-up gear to the new Runecarving crafting resource, Korthite Crystal. Korthite Crystal is a new regent utilized to craft base legendary gear.
Death’s Advance and Archivist’s Codex Reputations
The new zone introduces two new reputation factions, the Death’s Advance, and the Archivist’s Codex. Players can complete the usual quests, dailies, and more to gain reputation with each faction respectively.
Covenant Assaults
Weekly, there will be two Covenant Assaults that will be marked on the players’ Maw map. Each of these lasts for half a week and rotates accordingly. Although a bit lengthier than the normal quest, they reward 50 Soul Cinders, which are used to increase Shadowlands Legendary items beyond level 235.
Tormentors of Torghast
Similar to the Wrath of the Jailer event, this event starts at a random place in the Maw. Players will have to kill enemies in order to spawn the boss. Players who kill the boss will receive a reward; it can be killed once a week. Like the Covenant Assaults, this also awards Soul Cinders, as well as materials for a new mand, the Hand of Bahmethra.
Weekly Korthia Meta Quest
Completing daily quests and assaults in the Maw gives players percent progress. This goes towards the weekly Korthia quest, Shaping Fate. Upon completion, players will receive 1500 Death’s Advance Reputation, 500 anime, and a Death’s Advance War Chest which contains catch-up gear. It also contains a bind-on-account token that awards 500 reputation towards all Covenants.
