Riot Games announced the seedings and dates for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship. Here is everything you need to know.
League of Legends Worlds 2022 Dates
The following dates have been set for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship:
- September 29 - October 4: Play-Ins at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City
- October 7 - 10: Group Stage at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City
- October 13 - 16: Group Stage at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City
- October 20 - 23: Quarterfinals at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City
- October 29 - 30: Semifinals at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia
- November 5: Finals at Chase Center in San Francisco, California
League of Legends Worlds 2022 Seeding
A total of 24 teams from around the globe will be participating 2022 League of Legends World Championship. Twelve teams will participate in the Play-In stage at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City.
- China - fourth seed (LPL)
- Korea - fourth seed (LCK)
- Europe - third and fourth seeds (LEC)
- North America - third seed (LCS)
- Southeast Asia - second seed (PCS)
- Vietnam - second seed (VCS)
- Brazil - first seed (CBLoL)
- Japan - first seed (LJL)
- Latin America - first seed (LLA)
- Oceania - first seed (LCO)
- Turkey - first seed (TCL)
The other 12 teams who automatically qualify to the Group Stage held at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden will play on October 7 to 10 and October 13 to 16.
