Madden NFL 22 Special Editions Explained

EA Sports has published a few Madden NFL 22 special editions for players to pre-order.

Figuring out which version of a game can be difficult. Fortunately, we've combed through the editions to make this handy guide so fans know what they're getting for their money.

We've broken down exactly what to expect when pre-ordering any of the Madden 22 editions.

Madden NFL 22 Special Editions Explained

There are three unique editions players can pre-order: Dynasty, MVP, and Standard. Meanwhile, subscribers of EA's paid service, EA Play and EA Play Pro, have their own rewards to look forward to.

Dynasty Edition

Dynasty Edition customers get three full days of early access starting on Aug. 17. They also benefit from Dual Entitlement access on either generation of the console they ordered for. This is the most expensive edition and, therefore, comes with the largest assortment of bonus rewards, including:

• 100 Staff Points
• One (1) Tom Brady Player Class Level 10 Progression
• One (1) Cover Athlete Capsule, with Tom Brady Inspired Gear
• One (1) Legend Athlete Capsule
• One (1) Elite Madden Mobile Starter Pack
• 22 Madden Ultimate Team Gold (MUT) Gold Team Fantasy Packs
• Player's choice of one NFL Star in Madden Ultimate Team
• Player's choice of either a Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes Elite Item 
• Limited Time Madden Ultimate Team Challenges during Early Access Window with Greatest Moments Reward(s)

Madden NFL 22's Dynasty Edition costs $99.99 USD.

MVP Edition

MVP Edition customers get three full days of early access starting on Aug. 17. They will also have Dual Entitlement access on either generation of console they ordered for, alongside other bonuses such as:

• 60 Staff Points
• One (1) Tom Brady Player Class Level 10 Progression
• One (1) 1 Cover Athlete Capsule, with Tom Brady Inspired Gear
• 11 Madden Ultimate Team Gold (MUT) Gold Team Fantasy Packs
• Player's choice of one NFL Star in Madden Ultimate Team
• Player's choice of either a Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes Elite Item 

Madden NFL 22's MVP Edition costs $79.99 USD.

Standard Edition

Standard Edition costumers do not get early access benefits. However, if they pre-order, they will get the following bonus rewards:

• 20 Staff Points
• One (1) Tom Brady Player Class Level 10 Progression
• One (1) Cover Athlete Capsule, with Tom Brady Inspired Gear
• Player's choice of one NFL Star in Madden Ultimate Team

Madden NFL 22's standard edition costs $59.99 USD.

EA Play

Fans who are already subscribed through EA Play will get limited early access on Aug. 12 on top of additional benefits, such as:

• Early Access trial including unique, limited-time Ultimate Team Challenges
• One (1) Launch Welcome Pack in Madden Ultimate Team
• Monthly Ultimate Team Pack rewards tied to in-game seasonal programs
• Madden Veteran Bonus Reward based on previous years played
• An additional 10% discount off your official pre-order purchase

EA Play requires a recurring subscription fee of $4.99 USD per month.

EA Play Pro

Those who pay the premium price to EA Sports for EA Play Pro will get early access to the full version of the game on Aug. 12. They will also receive the following bonuses:

• One (1) Launch Welcome Pack in Madden Ultimate Team
• Monthly Ultimate Team Pack rewards tied to in-game seasonal programs
• Madden Veteran Bonus Reward based on previous years played
• An additional 10% discount on EA digital content
