As with any new Call of Duty title at launch, plenty of players will be looking to grind out matches with each and every one of the game's weapons in order to earn its most prestigious cosmetics: Mastery Camos. In MW2, there are four that players will want to unlock ASAP: Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic and Orion. Here's a breakdown of how to get the Polyatomic Camo in Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 Polyatomic Camo: How to Get
The Polyatomic Camo Challenge is the final Mastery Camo Challenge Modern Warfare 2 has to offer and is unlocked by unlocking the Platinum Camo on a minimum of 51 weapons. This means that if there is a new assault rifle that arrives in Season 1, you can technically "skip" one of the assault rifle Platinum Camo Challenges available at launch and still unlock Polyatomic Camo Challenges for the category. Of course, unlocking the Platinum Camo Challenges requires completing plenty of Gold and Base Camo Challenges, so it will take some time before you can start making progress toward the Polyatomic itself.
Once you have unlocked the Polyatomic Camo Challenges, however, the challenges themselves are said to be specific to each weapon category. Each Polyatomic Camo Challenge is also the same across every weapon within a weapon category. For example, the M4’s Polyatomic Camo Challenge is different compared to the RPG-7’s Polyatomic Camo Challenge, but the same as the Lachmann-556's Polyatomic Camo Challenge.
As for what these specific Polyatomic Camo Challenges will entail, it appears we will have to find out at launch.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is set to release worldwide on Oct. 28.
