The whirlwind of Magic: The Gathering content never stops, but after a brief interlude of Universes Beyond sets, Magic is gearing up to debut its latest mainline set, Lost Caverns of Ixalan. Here's what the spoiler schedule is looking like for the set, codenamed LCI.

Lost Caverns of Ixalan is the second set to take place in Ixalan, a plane inspired by Mesoamerican folklore and the Age of Exploration. The plane is home to massive dinosaurs, marauding pirates and zealous vampire conquistadors. Ixalan's debut in 2017 was met with praise by players who enjoyed its unique theme but derided it for its weak cards that did little to affect the competitive meta.

This new set seems to take inspiration from classic stories about "Hollow Earth," indicating that important secrets lie beneath the ground of Ixalan.
