MW3 Season 1 Reloaded Patch Notes: New Hardpoint Hills Added to CDL Maps

Ahead of MW3 Ranked Play and Call of Duty League Major 1, there are new Hardpoint hills on four CDL maps detailed in the MW3 Season 1 Reloaded patch notes.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play was the big addition to Season 1 Reloaded, but the patch notes revealed a few other major changes coming to multiplayer, including new map rotations on four of the five CDL Hardpoint maps. Karachi, Sub Base, Invasion, and Terminal now feature new hills that will ultimately change how pros and casual fans play the maps.

MW3 Season 1 Reloaded Patch Notes: New Hardpoint Hills Added to CDL Maps

The MW3 Season 1 Reloaded patch notes revealed new Hardpoint hills for Karachi, Sub Base, Terminal, and Invasion. Now, players will have to change their rotations and strategies three months into the game. Check out the new Hardpoint hills for each CDL map below.

New Karachi Hardpoint Hills in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded

The new Karachi hardpoint hills in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded are as follows:

1. Rubble
2. Cafe
3. Mini Mart
4. Main Street
5. Shacks

Of all the changes, Karachi definitely got the worst of the bunch. Although the first three hills remain the same, P4 and P5 have now been moved outside. Each area covers a massive ground that will be incredibly difficult to hold.

New Sub Base Hardpoint Hills in MW3 Season 1 Reload

Here's the new Sub Base Hardpoint hills in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded:

1. Loading Bay
2. Garage Bay
3. Crane
4. North Dock
5. Tank

The big change for Sub Base is P4 is no longer on the middle of the boat. Instead, players can now hold the hill from the back right corner of the docks.

New Terminal Hardpoint Hills in MW3 Season 1 Reload

Check out the new Terminal rotations in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded:

1. Bookstore
2. Lower Longue
3. Shopping
4. Diner
5. Apron

The plane has been virtually removed from Terminal HP after it used to guarantee a full 60. Plus, Burger has been extended to now allow teams to hold the hill from much more than just behind the counter.

New Invasion Hardpoint Hills in MW3 Season 1 Reload

The new Invasion Hardpoint hills in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded are as follows:

1. Courtyard
2. Construction
3. Bus Station
4. Park
5. South Street

Like the plane in Terminal, Palace is no longer a hill on Invasion. The hill was so unbreakable the developers took it out of the rotation, which is a huge win.

Each map also features new spawns in addition to the brand new rotations.

When Does CDL Major 1 Start?

CDL Major 1 starts on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024. The LAN tournament kicks off in Boston, Massachusetts at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. All 12 CDL teams will compete on LAN in front of a live audience to see who is crowned the first champions of the MW3 era.
