Back in October during Call of Duty: NEXT, the developers announced the return of Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep in Warzone, but never gave specific dates on when fans could expect the beloved maps. Well, after waiting years to spawn back into Rebirth Island, the Warzone Season 3 roadmap confirmed Rebirth island's release date, layout, and more, coming in the next major update. After the successful revival of Fortune's Keep, the entire Call of Duty community is eagerly awaiting Rebirth Island's launch.

So, how much longer do fans have to wait to experience Rebirth Island again?

The MW3 Warzone Rebirth Island countdown to release is ticking down the days until Warzone Season 3 goes live on Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2024, at 12 p.m. ET. The new season not only includes the return of Rebirth Island, but also a fresh Battle Pass, three new weapons, and even a new Snoop Dogg skin.

At the time of writing, fans have less than 3 days until Rebirth Island finally releases in Warzone. The fan-favorite map will also feature Ranked Play, allowing fans to climb from Bronze to the Top 250 in Ranked Resurgence.

Along the way, there will be plenty of free rewards, like a “Pro Issue WSP Swarm” SMG Weapon Blueprint and “WZ Ranked Play Season 3 Veteran” Weapon Camo.

The developers also confirmed that the POIs are as you last saw them and will not feature drastic changes like some POIs on Fortune's Keep. Although the Rebirth Island trailer hinted at the destruction of Prison, the roof and lighthouse will indeed still be standing come release day.
