Today's MW3 Warzone Season 3 Ranked reset will impact all players regardless of their current Skill Division on Ranked Resurgence.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 features the highly anticipated arrival of Rebirth Island, the OG Resurgence map. Not only will fans get to explore its 11 iconic POIs for the first time in years, but they will also get to experience the small map in a competitive playlist for the first time. In Season 3, Ranked Resurgence is moving from Fortune's Keep to Rebirth Island, giving Warzone players a completely new experience, and of course, fresh rewards.

As you log on to play Ranked Resurgence, though, you will notice your Season 2 Rank got demoted. Here's everything you need to know about the MW3 Warzone Season 3 Ranked reset.

MW3 Warzone Season 3 Ranked Reset Explained

As soon as MW3 Warzone Season 3 drops, a game-wide Ranked reset will go live that demotes all players three Skill Divisions. Therefore, if you ended MW3 Warzone Season 2 in Platinum or lower, you will be back to Bronze in the new season.

The same Ranked reset occurred when Season 2 launched, and will continue to occur throughout the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 era. Unlike multiplayer, though, at least Season 3's Ranked Resurgence offers you a new map to grind: Rebirth Island.
