Overwatch DPS Tier List: August 2022

We have compiled a list of the best and worst DPS heroes to play in Overwatch for August 2022. The list will guide you through the best heroes and how well they coordinate with others and individually.


- Hanzo
- Cassidy

Hanzo is versatile with his arrows that reveal enemies that strikes multiple targets. He also has the ability to scale walls to fire his bow and summon his spirit dragon. Cassidy can take out targets with his deadeye precision and can move from danger with his speed. These two heroes are can make it difficult to counter.


- Reaper
- Echo
- Ashe

Reaper is a great hero because he has the ability to become immune to damage with his ghostly ability along with his Hellfire Shotguns. Echo can rapidly adapt to artificial intelligence. She is versatile enough to play multiple roles on the battlefield. Ashe can quickly fire her rifle and also blast the enemies with her dynamite. Her coach gun also creates enough distance between her and the enemy team.


- Genji
- WIdowmaker

Genji has precise flings and his deadly Shuriken at his targets. He uses his katana to deflect projectiles or deliver the Swift Strike that removes enemies. Widowmaker does whatever it takes to eliminate her targets, such as using her poisonous gas and her power sniper rifle.


- Doomfist
- Tracer
- Soldier 76
- Junkrat

Doomfist’s cybernetics make him a highly mobile and powerful frontline fighter. He can slam the ground to knock enemies into the air and off balance or charge into the fray with his Rocket Punch. Tracer is able to “blink” through space and rewind her personal timeline as she battles to right wrongs the world over. Soldier: 76 has the speed and support know-how of a highly trained warrior. Junkrat’s area-denying armaments include a Frag Launcher that lobs bouncing grenades, Concussion Mines that send enemies flying, and Steel Traps that stop foes dead in their tracks.


- Mei
- Pharah

Mei’s weather-altering devices slow opponents and protect locations. Her Endothermic Blaster unleashes damaging icicles and frost streams, and she can Cryo-Freeze herself to guard against counterattacks. Pharah is a force to be reckoned with her combat armor, and armed with a launcher that lays down high-explosive rockets,
