Overwatch DPS Tier List January 2021

Overwatch DPS Tier List for January 2021 depends on team's tanks choice and Overwatch's patches that came out last month. The list will not differ much from Overwatch DPS Tier List for December. In the current version, tanks drive the meta. Sigma and Wrecking Ball are still considered as S-tier tanks. Best DPS to pair up with these two are those who have quite some mobility along with one-shot capability.

Overwatch DPS Tier List January 2021

1. S-Tier

Echo, Ashe, McCree, and Tracer are among the best DPS in the game right now. All of them work well with or against Sigma and Wrecking Ball. They have decent mobility, which makes them less vulnerable, yet still deal massive damage. They can also adjust their positioning quickly based on Sigma's barrier placement. While Wrecking Ball knocks up enemies, these DPS can move closer to the CC-ed enemy and finish them off.

2. A-Tier

Mei, Torbjörn, Junkrat, and Hanzo are the A-listers in DPS department thanks to their solid source of damage. They can spam turrets, grenades, and weather-altering weapon to annoy their enemies. While they may not be as mobile as the heroes in S-tier, their kits are easier to pull off to multiple enemies. At the same time, they deal great amount of damage.

3. B-Tier

Soldier: 76, Pharah, and Genji are hit-or-miss when it comes to pairing up with Sigma, Wrecking Ball, or even Reinhardt. Positioning is the key for these heroes. For instance, Pharah is very vulnerable by herself. She has to find the perfect opportunity to fire her missiles without getting one-shot by enemy snipers. Best way to do it is ambushing the enemies while they focus on attacking the tanks.

4. C-Tier

Reaper and Symmetra have weak synergy with Sigma and Wrecking Ball but they are quite a viable picks going up against them. Symmetra's turrets will limit the Wrecking Ball's mobility, while Reaper's Death Blossom can decapitate immobile Sigma.

5. D-Tier

D-listers are full of situational DPS heroes such as Doomfist, Bastion, Widowmaker, and Sombra. While Orisa is not particularly strong right now, placing Bastion in high up the list is not possible. Sombra, Doomfist, and Widowmaker are map-dependent.
