Overwatch Summer Games 2020 is here, at last!

Blizzard Entertainment launched its annual Summer Games event Aug. 4. From now through to the 25th, players have the option of competing in games and completing challenges to win fun, unique rewards. This year, Brigitte, Pharah, Baptise, Doomfist, and Echo have new legendary skins while Bastion, Orisa, and Tracer get great new Epic skins. Additionally, players can earn two new highlights, an emote, two sprays, seven player icons, and three new poses.

Here are some tips to get through the challenges as quickly as you can.

Overwatch Summer Games 2020: How to Quickly Complete Weekly Challenges

Weekly challenges can be completed via Arcade mode, Quick Play, and Competitive Play. Whichever way you like to enjoy Overwatch is perfectly fine to earn your rewards. The challenges are essentially identical, tasking the player to win an additional three matches per tier.

  • Week one rewards include Baseballmari Player Icon, Union Jack Spray and Union Jack Tracer Skin
  • Week two rewards are Golfmari Player Icon, Sand Castle Spray and Sand Castle Bastion
  • Week three rewards are Surfimari Player Icon, Ice Cream Spray and Ice Cream Orisa

We are currently still in Week one—which ends Aug. 10.

As mentioned before, these rewards task you with winning nine games every week to unlock all the rewards for each week. Your best bet would likely be opting to play Lucioball, as it's probably going to be extremely popular during the event. It won't take much time for the game to put you with a team. Not only that but, as an event mini-game, it may even take some of the pressure off.

The second quickest way, of course, would be with Quick Play mode. Although, it's possible that most of the more active players will be focusing on event modes, so your chances of winning here may not be as high. Players may not want to spend time in Quick Play without a group they already know.
