Pokemon GO Dialga counters are critical to memorize for this weekend's Pokemon GO Fest Day Two.

Currently, during the second day of the newly localized Pokemon GO Fest, the raid bosses include Palkia, both forms of Giratina, and Dialga. The latter-most Pokemon has been widely praised as one of the biggest GO Battle League titans to grace the game since its release. Adding Dialga to any team would be a wise decision no matter the time of year.

Pokemon GO Dialga Counters

As a dragon and steel-type, Dialga is weakest to fighting and ground moves. Its best moveset contains the quick move Metal Claw and the charged move Draco Meteor. Fortunately, there are several Pokemon with the skills to take it down.

1. Machamp

Machamp is the premiere counter for Diagla due to its fighting-type prowess. Typically, if there's some sort of fighting-type weakness, you're likely to see Machamp join the fray and choke it out. Its best moveset contains the quick move Counter and the charged move Dynamic Punch. However, Close Combat is also acceptable.

2. Lucario

Lucario's best charged moves are Close Combat and Aura Sphere

Right behind Machamp is the lucky fighting and steel-type, Lucario. This Pokemon works well against Dialga due to its resistance against other steel and even dragon-type moves. Lucario's best moveset for this encounter includes the quick move Counter and either Aura Sphere or Close Combat.

3. Hariyama

Hariyama is an excellent choice to flesh out your team for this raid. Like Machamp, it's a pure fighting-type, with a lot of the same stats. However, Hariyama typically has a better HP pool at the cost of its attack and defense. Its best moveset contains the quick move Counter and the charged move Dynamic Punch. As always, Close Combat is also acceptable.

Honorable mentions include Breloom, Toxicroak, Groudon, Blaziken, and Gallade.
