Pokémon GO New Pokémon Snap Celebration Rewards

Pokémon GO New Pokémon Snap Celebration rewards are here! To celebrate its inclusion in the series Pokémon GO has a new research quest. It is a timed research quest, so players must complete the research before the event is over in order to earn the rewards.

This is not Pokémon GO's May Community Day event, so be sure to participate in both.

Pokémon GO New Pokémon Snap Celebration Rewards

Plenty of rewards are available through this research quest, and additional field research tasks have their own unique rewards as well. On top of those rewards, players have the chance to earn themselves a shiny Smeargle. Below is a list of the rewards per step completion, and the rewards included by completing each individual step.

1. Quest Part 1 Rewards: 750 XP, 5 Nanab Berries, Dodrio encounter

• Take a Snapshot of Metapod, Aipom or Lotad in the wild - 5 PokéBalls
• Use three Berries to help catch Pokémon - Bunnelby encounter
• Take three Snapshots of wild Pokémon - Meowth encounter

2. Quest Part 2 Rewards: 1250 XP, 5 Razz Berries, Skamory encounter

• Take a Snapshot of Sandshrew, Trapinch or Cacnea in the wild - 10 PokéBalls
• Use five Berries to help catch Pokémon - Sandshrew encounter
• Take three Snapshots of wild Ground Pokémon - Onix encounter

3. Quest Part 3 Rewards: 2000 XP, 5 Pinap Berries, Matine encounter

• Take a Snapshot of Chinchou, Finneon or Ducklett in the wild - 10 Great Balls
• Use seven Berries to help catch Pokémon - Wailmer encounter
• Take three Snapshots of wild Water Pokémon - Qwilfish encounter

4. Quest Part 4 Rewards: 8000 XP, Clamperl encounter

• Take 15 Snapshots of Wild Pokémon - 10 Great Balls
• Take a Snapshot of Dodrio, Mantine or Skamory in the wild - Skorupi encounter
• Use five Berries to help catch Pokémon: - 1000 Stardust

Smeargle has a chance to pop up each time you take a snapshot of a Pokémon in the wild, but it will only pop up 15 times per day. The event last a total of four days, giving players a total of 60 chances to catch a shiny Smeargle. After you get yours, you can start the journey to making shiny Smeargle your Best Buddy.

Additionally, field reach tasks and rewards include the following:

• Use five Berries to help catch Pokémon reward - Croagunk, Stunfisk, Stunky, Wooper or Wurmple encounter
• Use five Golden Razz Berries to help catch Pokémon reward - Alolan Vulpux or Lapras encounter
• Take a Snapshot of a wild Pokémon reward - three Pinap Berries or Razz Berries
• Take five Snapshots of wild Pokémon reward - Dodrio, Skarmory or Mantine encounter

Naturally, the Pokémon required to complete these tasks will have a boosted chance for appearing as well. You'll need to complete these field research tasks in order to complete the steps of the New Pokémon Snap Celebration event at large, so start completing them now!
