Pokémon GO New Year's 2023: Everything You Need to Know

Niantic Labs, The Pokémon Company

Pokémon GO wants to start 2023 on the right foot so after the second part of the Winter Holiday event ends, another holiday celebration is already here. From 8 p.m. local time on Dec. 31 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 4 trainers can ring in 2023 with Pokémon GO's New Year Celebration. Here is the breakdown of the festivities.

Pokémon GO New Year's 2023 Event Bonuses

For this event, there will be special bonuses applied to hatching Pokémon eggs. Eggs placed in incubators will only require half the walking distance to hatch. For those that use the Pokémon GO Egg hatching widget, your first three eggs hatched during the event will only need a quarter of the distance.
