PROJECT Mordekaiser was announced as one of the seven new skins joining the popular League of Legends cosmetic line.

PROJECT features high-tech, futuristic skins giving champions a neo-noir like edge to them. It's been one of the most popular skin lines since its debut in 2015 featuring the likes of Fiora, Zed, Lucian, Leona and Master Yi. Since then, fans look forward to finding out which champions will join the line each year. The latest release brings the overall tally up to 25 skins.

PROJECT Mordekaiser's splash art showcases the top laner in front of some futuristic skyscrapers. He's been given a high-technological revamp and the neon red effects pop off the screen. Considering how popular the effects are on other skins like Dark Star Mordekaiser, this PROJECT release should be popular among players.

PROJECT Mordekaiser is expected to release with League of Legends Patch 11.11 on May 26, but no official release date has been confirmed at the time of writing.

How to Get PROJECT Mordekaiser

Once the skin is released, players can purchase it in the store for Riot Points. Additionally, players can also try their luck at opening the skin shard in the Loot tab from a Hextech Chest. Or, players can re-roll three skin shards hoping to get a permanent unlock. The last two methods aren't guaranteed.
