PsyOps Sona skin was revealed ahead of League of Legends Patch 10.16 giving players their first look at the Maven of Strings new look.

PsyOps is a new skin line in League of Legends set to debut with Master Yi, Ezreal, Vi, Shen and Sona. As is customary with new skin line additions one debut champion was selected to receive a Prestige Edition skin.

PsyOps Sona's splash art shows the music-based champion using her psychic powers to strangle some poor fool, Darth Vader-style.

PsyOps Sona Skin Price

PsyOps Sona will cost players 1,820 RP, putting it a step above the standard skin price of 1,350 RP.

Riot Games plans to release PsyOps Sona and the rest of the PsyOps skin line's opening salvo of skins Sept. 3.

How to Get PsyOps Sona Skin

Skins in League of Legends can be acquired in three ways. First, players can purchase the skin through the in-game store in exchange for RP. Players who are lucky enough to receive a skin shard from a chest can net a full unlock with Orange Essence. While risky, re-rolling three random skin shards gives players a chance to obtain a permanent unlock.
