Rift Locations in Fortnite Season 4 are not easy to get to. These portals were in the game during previous seasons but were sadly missing up until Epic Games released Season 4 of Fortnite. The function of these rifts is to teleport whoever enters them far up into the air, giving them the freedom to fly to nearby areas quickly, and safely. In previous seasons, when glider redeploying was part of the game, these rifts were useful, but more for traversal and quick escapes. Since their return to the game, it has been interesting to see what feels like an old relic of Season 2 be on the same map as fast cars, new weapons, and Marvel superheroes. This map provides all the locations of rifts in Season 4. As you can see, they are a little out of the way. The fact that these rifts are in areas that people don’t tend to drop at is an interesting choice. Knowing these more uncommon locations and mastering the rifts could give you an advantage over other players. In competitive games like Fortnite being mechanically skilled is valuable, but it’s also important to have a high level of game knowledge. Hopefully, this map can help you work towards improving your game knowledge.

The most important places to know are the ones near Stark Industries and Doom’s Domain. Unlike other locations, players tend to congregate around at these two places in order to take down Iron Man or Dr.Doom. Flying down on an unsuspecting player from a rift that they didn’t know about could rack you up some easy kills. A good strategy would be to land near the rift, wait until you think that other players have taken down Iron Man or Dr.Doom, and then fly in on a rift to take out your weakened enemy.
