Scan a Server at a Surface Hub: How to Complete Week 13 Challenge

Scanning a server at a Surface Hub and how to complete it for the Week 13 challenge is causing some confusion for gamers. The locations of these servers in Fortnite were a bit of a mystery, but fortunately, we've got you covered.

While one of the easier tasks for Week 13, some people are puzzled as to what a server is or where the Surface Hubs are. Epic Games certainly don't seem to be holding the gamer's hand with this one.

Scanning a Server at a Surface Hub: How to Complete

Servers are actually dotted across the map and you've probably seen one, just not understood what it was meant for. But that's not very helpful with this challenge if you don't know where to find the Surface Hubs.

Surface Hubs are the underground bunkers on The Island. There are three of them: one at Colossal Coliseum; another outside of Hunter's Haven; and last but not least, under the ruins at Stealthy Stronghold. You only need to scan one server at any of these locations - so you don't need to travel to them all.

Colossal Coliseum

You'll want to enter from the south entrance and go down the staircase in the southeast corner. The staircase will open out into an underground bunker (if possible, you should jump over the banister and to the ground floor). Next, go up the staircase on the right, turn left at the top, and then the room on the left should contain the servers.

Hunter's Haven

For this one, you will want to head into the building at the southwest corner. To find the server, you just have to descend the staircase where it will open out into a bunker. Next, cross over to the adjacent staircase and ascend and the servers should be to your left.

Stealthy Stronghold

When looking at the 'mini-map', you should see a small structure between the 'R' and 'O' IN Stronghold. Here there is a gap in the floor where you should go down the stairs until you get to the bottom level of the bunker. From here you just need to turn left, and then there should be a door to the left which is the server room.

Don't forget to interact with the server once you've arrived at a Surface Hub!
