Now that the Final Beta of Super People officially launched Wednesday, it's perhaps as good of a time as any to go over how the game has performed so far with its player count.

For fans of the free-to-play, first-person shooter battle royale, here's a breakdown of the Super People player count as of August 2022.

Super People Player Count: What is it?

Typically, it's tough to get a clear, exact official number of the player counts of games as developers and publishers often don't share their player data outside of when they hit new milestones.

Luckily enough, Super People is exclusively available on PC (via Steam), which means there is plenty of information to be had on the game.

According to SteamDB, the Super People Final Beta peaked at 45,985 players on Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. ET, which is not all that far off from its all-time peak of 54,670 players set in December 2021. In recent years, every new beta session has typically seen the game's user numbers spike.

Additionally, back in February 2022, developer Wonder People announced that over 4.3 million people had played the game at that point.

Super People has generated some buzz in recent months as a "next-generation battle royale PC FPS shooter" that's roughly PUBG: Battlegrounds with special abilities and ultimate skills.

The game heavily emphasizes the fun that comes with scaling up with unique character abilities as a match goes on, in addition to simply finding better weapons.

Super People also handles its character system much differently than games like Apex Legends. Here, players aren't intended to necessarily "main" one character and use them over and over again as every time you jump into a lobby, you’ll be randomly assigned a character from a pool of 13 heroes and will have to spend in-game gold to reroll.

The Super People Final Beta kicked off on Aug. 17 and is set to run until Aug. 31 at 1 p.m. ET. This will be the final test before the game’s official Early Access period begins, a time in which all game data and character information, including nicknames, items, gold and rank, will be reset.
