The Electric Fling is a sidequest in The Outer Worlds' Peril of Gorgon DLC. Completing the side quest will get you one of two rewards, including Bit Cartridge

How to complete the Electric Fling Side Quest

To acquire the side quest, you first have to get it from Roscoe Clanton on the second floor of the Sprat Shack at gorgon

To acquire the side quest, you first have to get it from Roscoe Clanton on the second floor of the Sprat Shack at gorgon. You also need to have access to each of the facilities to find their phonographs.

Here is how to access the different labs:

  • The CHEM Lab can be accessed by using the CHEM Lab Passphrase received during the Man in High Orbit mission
  • The HIA can be accessed by using the HIA Passkey obtained during A Clockwork Mock Apple
  • The OCI can be accessed by using the Preserved Eye acquired from The Ones Who Walk Away From Gorgon mission
  • The GPO can be found in the eastern part of Gorgon.

Once you find the phonographs in each lab, you have two options. You can bring them back to Roscoe Clanton to receive 1,250 Bit Cartridge and the Wall of Swords, a one-handed sword with a bleeding effect on contact. Alternatively, you can bring the phonographs to NTVUR to receive 2,250 Bit Cartridge, reputation with Auntie Cleo, and the Wilderness Ops Armor, a heavy set of armor to protect you in The Outer Worlds.
