Warzone 2 'Revive Pistol' Field Upgrade Can Pick Up Teammates From Afar

In Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, a new Field Upgrade called the Revive Pistol appears primed to shake up how players play certain high-intensity situations moving forward.

Just as in any competitive shooter with revive mechanics, the decision between playing for yourself or going for the revive is something that has made or broken teams' runs in Warzone. Heading into Warzone 2, however, it appears there will be a way to get the best of both worlds.

During Infinity Ward's early access Warzone 2 event on Nov. 9, content creator ModernWarzone revealed one of the newest Field Upgrades set to debut with the launch of the new battle royale — the Revive Pistol.

As shown in the clip, ModernWarzone had a teammate down. But instead of having to go up to them and spend time picking them up, all he had to do was shoot them with the Revive Pistol and it would automatically do the job hands-free.

As you might expect, this could definitely be a game-changer in many clutch situations as the Revive Pistol would allow players to be able to pick up their teammates while still being able to fight.

It appears each Revive Pistol Field Upgrade will also come with four rounds, allowing you to come up clutch multiple times in a match, or simply pick up your entire squad at once.

Of course, this isn't the first time a stim gun was seen in gaming (e.g. Battlefield 2042, Destiny 2, Rainbow Six Siege). However, coupled with the new Interrogation feature as well, it appears Warzone 2 should have plenty of new content for players coming over directly from the original.
