As fans eagerly await the return of Rebirth Island, they want to know exactly when MW3 Warzone Season 2 ends.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 is almost complete. The Season featured collaborations with The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live and Dune: Part Two, as well as the return of Fortune's Keep. Fans even got to play Resurgence Ranked for the first time in Warzone history, gaining and losing SR as they play competitive matches on the iconic map. Plus, players earned plenty of Battle Pass and Ranked rewards throughout the season, including new weapons, cosmetics, and free COD points.

So, how much longer do fans have to enjoy MW3 Warzone Season 2 before it ends?

When Does MW3 Warzone Season 2 End?

MW3 Warzone Season 2 ends on Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2024. The current Warzone season will simply be replaced with Season 3 come 12 p.m. ET.

At the time of writing, fans have less than six days to enjoy the current state of Warzone before drastic changes come in Season 3. Every time a major update drops in the Battle Royale, the developers deliver powerful weapon buffs and nerfs that typically upend the current meta.

For months the RAM-7 Assault Rifle and XRK Stalker Sniper Rifle have dominated Urzikstan and Fortune's Keep, and it is highly likely we see a new long-range option emerge in the upcoming season. Plus, with the return of Rebirth Island, we could see an all-new Resurgence meta in the update.

When Does MW3 Season 2 End?

MW3 Season 2 ends on Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2024, at 12 p.m. ET, just like Warzone Season 2. Both games will transition into Season 3 in less than a week.

To close out MW3 Season 2, the developers added Vista and Departures to the Ranked Play map rotation in all three modes to test out potential new competitive maps. Both maps have a five-day trial run before the Call of Duty League professional players vote on whether to add them to the official rotation.

Depending on how the vote goes, we could see new multiplayer Ranked Play maps in MW3 Season 3, as well as say goodbye to some of the current options, like Invasion and Sub Base Hardpoint.
