Elden Ring Nightreign Executor guide – how to best use Executor’s abilities and stats

Here's how to get the most out of Executor, Nightreign's samurai
FromSoftware

Executor is Elden Ring Nightreign’s samurai. He’s best put to use delivering constant, quick damage – especially if you find the weapons to focus on dealing bleeding damage. When in trouble, he’s able to transform into a hulking beast that dishes out the pain.

Elden Ring Nightreign Executor attributes

A character’s attributes tell you two things: what their starting stats will be in terms of health, stamina, magic pool, and strength, and what weapons they’re most comfortable with. The highest possible stat is an S, followed by A, B, C, D, and E as the lowest.

Here’s what each stat means:

  • HP - How large your health pool is.
  • FP - How large your mana pool is.
  • Stamina - How large your stamina gauge is.
  • Strength - How much physical damage you can deal, scaling with colossal weapons.
  • Dexterity - Proficiency with daggers, bows, katanas, and other fast weapons.
  • Intelligence - Your magical potency, impacting the power of sorceries. Scales well with weapons such as the Moonveil katana and Fallingstar Beast Jaw.
  • Faith - How effective your healing and holy incantations are. Scales with weapons such as Golden Epitaph and Erdtree Greatbow.
  • Arcane - Holy damage and death blight negation. Increases blood loss buildup for bleeding weapons. Scales with weapons such as Serpent Bow and Rivers of Blood.

Here are Executor’s attributes:

  • HP - B
  • FP - D
  • Stamina - B

  • Dexterity - S

Elden Ring Nightreign Executor abilities

Each Nightreign character also has two active abilities and one passive ability. These abilities can also be changed with certain relics, making them more potent. Here are Executor’s:

Passive: Tenacity

Tenacity boosts Executor’s damage and stamina whenever they recover from a status ailment, which rewards risky play. To deal big damage, it’s a good idea to purposely eat a bit of poison or frostbite every now and then.

Character Skill: Cursed Sword

This skill limits your movement to draw a cursed sword that can deflect enemy attacks. Once drawn, pretend you’re playing Sekiro and tap LB multiple times as enemy attacks come in. Do it right and your sword will glow with power, allowing you to deal heavy damage.

Ultimate Art: Aspects of the Crucible: Beast

This ultimate transforms you into a massive beast that attacks with its claws, dealing big damage to single targets and swiping the field of small groups. Its main drawback is you become a large target and while you have a huge health pool when transformed, it’s easy to lose track of the damage you’re taking and die. The beast is also good for reviving allies with its claw swipes. It’s also worth noting that you can revert back out of the transformation at any time and keep some of the charge.

Elden Ring Nightreign Executor’s best weapons

With high arcane and dex, you should always be on the lookout for Rivers of Blood, a katana that makes enemies bleed. Any other weapon that focuses on bleeding works well, but this is the best to use as Executor, hands-down.
