All HSR 3.5 Golden Scapegoat solutions and locations

Version 3.5 of Honkai: Star Rail has introduced yet another location on Amphoreus — the intact and pristine version of Styxia, which we’d previously only seen as a flooded, destroyed ruin. As has become tradition for this world, the new map contains several Golden Scapegoat puzzles.

However, the developers have introduced a new gameplay element to these challenges. In the latest editions of the minigame, we not only have to consider the order and timing of movement and button pressing, but also factor teleportation devices into our calculations.

Golden Scapegoats in Styxia (Warbling Shores)

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Right

As the introductory puzzle for the new teleportation mechanic, this one isn’t very difficult: Go right two times, which will goad your shadow into opening the trapdoor right as you teleport over and step onto it.

Golden Scapegoat #2

Location:

Solution: Right, Right, Right, Left, Left, Left

Hop down to the lowest level from the starting point by heading right three times and then go left three times, ending your movement one step to the left of the button. Here’s the crucial bit: Once your shadow has spawned, immediately go one step to the right to activate the yellow button.

This will send your shadow straight into the teleporter, leaving it to make its remaining moves on the other side of the map. Once your shadow is over there, you should hurry up to the teleporter, which is closed for the moment, but will activate once your shadow steps on the green button.

Your shadow will then activate the blue button, creating a bridge between the teleporter and the sacrificial pyre you must reach.

Golden Scapegoat #3

Location:

Solution: Right, Right, Down, Right, Right, Right

Head right and into the teleporter to reach the lower part of the map, where you simply need to go further down and then head right until you reach the blue button, reactivating the teleporter on the way. Simply keep on heading right and then climb the ladder, turning left to return to the teleporter, which will be reactivated by your shadow — which is also holding the blue button so you can reach the device via the bridge.
