Umamusume: Best Support Cards tier list
By Marco Wutz

Support Cards are at the core of your Umamusume: Pretty Derby experience: They deliver events, bonuses, and – crucially – the power of friendship you need to make dreams come true in your career mode runs.
You will need to create the perfect deck for each individual Umamusume, keeping in mind their preferred race styles and the best stats associated with that. Having a large and powerful pool from which to your Support Cards will be quite the advantage, but since you can only bring five of your cards to each run, quantity does not beat quality.
Find the best Support Cards in Umamusume in this tier list.
Umamusume Support Card tier list
SSR cards – the highest rarity in the game – are usually superior to more common cards, but SR cards that have been uncapped four times can well be stronger than SSR cards without a diamond, as they’ll provide more effects. Sometimes, quantity is a quality of its own.
Note that this tier list ranks the available Support Cards by their universal strength and versatility. You will always have to pick and choose those viable for you current playthrough to get the best results.
S+-Tier Support Cards
These cards have qualities unmatched by any others and will remain valuable throughout the lifespan of the game regardless of the characters you have — so much so that getting some of them when you start the game is potentially worth rerolling for.
- [Fire at My Heels] Kitasan Black (SSR)
- [Peace of Mind] Super Creek (SSR)
- [Wave of Gratitude] Fine Motion (SSR)
S-Tier Support Cards
These cards offer excellent bonuses and skills, but are slightly less universal than the ones in the tier above.

A-Tier Support Cards
These cards are very robust overall — they might in fact be excellent for some characters, but way less effective on others. You can still use these to extremely good effect, but they’ll need a little more thinking and planning.

B-Tier Support Cards
Similar to cards in the tier above, these can be very effective when used on the right character and in the right situation, but they can’t compete with other cards outside of their niche.
- [Split the Sky, White Lightning] Tamamo Cross (SSR)
- [Breakaway Battleship] Gold Ship (SSR)
- [Showered in Joy] Rice Shower (SSR)
- [7 More Centimeters] Air Shakur (SSR)
- [Go Ahead and Laugh] Mejiro Palmer (SSR)

- [Well, Look Who’s Home] Fuji Kiseki (SR)
- [Ignore the Stares] Mejiro Dober (SR)
- [Never Skip Warm-Ups] Ikuno Dictus (SR)
Never pick your cards blindly, aside perhaps from those in S-Tier, which are universally great — be sure to check out the skills they have to offer and ensure that they are actually useful for the Umamusume you’re about to train. As good as Silence Suzuka's SSR might be, to pick on example, it won't be of much use to a Late Surger with all of its Front Runner skills.
