Battlefield 6 update reduces Conquest tickets and eases flying on Manhattan Bridge

Changes ahead of the Season 1 update.

EA and DICE are currently gearing up for the Battlefield 6 Season 1 update, which includes a small patch published earlier today to change some stuff in the backend. However, preparing Season 1’s launch doesn’t stop the developers from addressing feedback and working on the community’s top issues.

Since most Conquest matches tend to be ended by the maximum timer instead of one team running out of tickets, which would be the more organic and satisfying end, EA has opted to reduce the ticket counter across all Conquest maps:

  • Siege of Cairo from 1000 to 900
  • Empire State from 1000 to 900
  • Iberian Offensive from 1000 to 900
  • Liberation Peak From 1000 to 800
  • Manhattan Bridge From 1000 to 800
  • Operation Firestorm From 1000 to 700
  • New Sobek City from 1000 to 900
  • Mirak Valley from 1000 to 700

Manhattan Bridge, specifically, was the target of another small update for both Conquest and Escalation. Since players have been having a hard time using flying vehicles on the map, the developers have increased the Out of Bounds timer from five to ten seconds, giving you more time to maneuver back into the playable area — with map sizes being one of the top issues in the community, this change is bound to fuel the arguments in favor of larger battlefields.
