Creative Assembly will reveal new Total War games at a showcase in December 2025
By Marco Wutz

British developer Creative Assembly is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its renowned Total War series today and used the opportunity to announce a Total War-focused showcase for the end of the year. The Total War: 25th Anniversary Showcase will take place in December 2025 and will “unveil the new games that you can expect to play in the near and distant future, as well as introduce you to the development teams making them.”
You’ve read that right: Games, as in ‘more than one.’ CA further promised that there will be stuff to enjoy for both fantasy and history fans.
From Warhammer 40,000 over Star Wars to World War 1, rumors of potential settings of the next Total War titles are abundant — but with more than one game being announced, there’s better odds for these rumors to be true now.
The studio confirmed that additional and “long-awaited” Total War: Warhammer 3 content will be announced at this showcase as well.
More information on Tides of Torment, the recently revealed DLC for the game, will be revealed in July 2025 with its third and final playable faction. Sayl the Fathless of Norsca is locked in for the expansion already alongside Dechala the Denied One with her Daemons of Slaanesh.
A content update for Total War: Warhammer 3 is set to launch next week with a rework of magic items and the addition of two free units.
