Genshin Impact Luna II release date, events, and features revealed

HoYoverse has unveiled Genshin Impact Version Luna II (6.1) as well as the open beta test of Miliastra Wonderland, the title’s UCG mode, in today’s developer livestream.

Genshin Impact Luna II is set to come to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android on October 22, 2025.

Genshin Impact Luna II: story & characters
In the Genshin Impact Luna II Archon Quest, Rerir is going after the weakened Columbina — something everyone else in Nod-Krai wants to prevent. Varka rallies Nod-Krai’s factions to her defense, tasking the Traveler and Nefer to find a weakness they can exploit. Reinforcements arrive from unexpected directions as well, as both Marionette and Arlecchino join the fray.
The Genshin Impact Luna II character banners will feature Nefer as a newly obtainable unit.
Genshin Impact Luna II: events & anniversary rewards
The following events will be available in Genshin Impact Version Luna II:
- Ruins Exploration: Fieldwise Center – Join forces with old friends from Sumeru to uncover the mysteries of some ancient desert ruins in various types of minigames; rewards include Primogems and 4-Star character Collei.
- Dance Dance Dynamic Disco – Multiplayer rhythm event; rewards include Primogems.
- Saurian Sojourn – Platformer event using Natlan’s Saurians and their mechanics; rewards include Primogems.
- Overflowing Abundance – Double drops from Talent and Weapon Ascension Material domains.
Genshin Impact Luna II: features
In Version Luna II, players will be able to accept new missions from Columbina in Selenic Chronicles: Part 2.
A Genius Invokation TCG update with Varesa, Ifa, and Hydro Tulpa as Character Cards will be available.
Luna II will also host the debut of Miliastra Wonderland, Genshin Impact’s UGC platform. It allows players to create a custom character and gameplay stages. Several web events will precede and accompany the launch of this mode, allowing players to obtain extra rewards.
