HoYoverse reveals Cerydra for HSR 3.5

Cerydra is coming to Honkai: Star Rail 3.5 as a playable character, HoYoverse confirmed. She’ll be a 5-Star character dealing Wind DMG and following The Harmony, so players can expect her to be a support-type unit.

This Chrysos Heir bears the Coreflame of Talanton, the Law Titan, and once saved the Holy City of Okhema from an invasion at the hands of rival city-states. Hysilens, who’ll be playable in HSR 3.5 as well, was her loyal right hand and enforcer at the time. 

Following their success on the battlefield, Cerydra took power in Okhema, advancing the cause of the Chrysos Heirs and their Prophecy at the expense of the Council of Elders, which cast her as a tyrant and oppressor despite the fact that she led Okhema into a new time of prosperity — she’s basically Aglaea’s predecessor when it comes to the politics of the Chrysos Heirs.

“'Flamebearer,' 'Tyrant,' 'Empress,' 'Supreme Commander,' 'Imperator'... The world has given me countless titles, but you may simply call me by my true name,” Cerydra is quoted as saying. She is also called the “Chessmaster Monarch” and appears to hail from the lost Northern Empire, “where frozen lands burn with ambitions of conquest.”

“Sovereign Cerydra, Chrysos Heir who wields the Coreflame of ‘Law’, you shall set your pieces, challenge the gods, pass judgment upon the faithless, and carve the path of Flame-Chase into the fate of this world. ‘This is no end. The path of Amphoreus shall blaze across the stars!’,” the reveal adds.
