Permansor Terrae, a new 5-Star Dan Heng, will be HSR’s first Preservation unit since Aventurine
By Marco Wutz

You can never have enough Dan Heng in HSR, especially now that voice actor Nicholas Leung has returned to work on the character — and after Evernight has been announced as a 5-Star March 7th, it seems only just that the developers have some cool plans for Dan Heng as well.
While March 7th will be taking up the Divine Authority of the Time Titan in HSR 3.6, Dan Heng will inherit the Divine Authority of Georios, the Earth Titan, becoming a Chrysos Heir. Georios has been confirmed to be somehow connected to Long, the Aeon of Permanence, who himself already has a connection with Dan Heng through his former identity as Imbibitor Lunae.
Called Permansor Terrae – HoYoverse is keeping the theme of Latin names, this one meaning something akin to Sustainer of Earth – Dan’s second 5-Star form follows The Preservation and deals Physical DMG.
This makes Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae the first released Preservation character since the coming of Aventurine in March 2024 for Version 2.1 — yes, it’s been that long.
“As you can see, that transformation was brought about by the power of the Permanence. Though you may have many questions, I'd like to reintroduce myself before I answer them — I am the Guard of the Astral Express, your companion, Dan Heng the Nameless,” the man himself is quoted as saying in the announcement post.
“The chest of Georios and the body of walking dragon shoulder the shattered earth, enduring a thousand years of suffering. Nameless Dan Heng, Chrysos Heir who guards the Earth's Coreflame, you must steady the world as it falls, and guide all life across the land to a new home beyond. All rivers flow to the sea, mountains echo in chorus, the path of Permanence shall stretch beyond horizons,” the post describes further.
Permansor Terrae and Evernight are expected to be released in September 2025, as HSR 3.5 is on the agenda first.
