Things are getting serious for Hotta Studio’s next game: The first global beta test for Neverness to Everness, dubbed the Containment Test, is set to go live in July 2025 and the developer has announced a livestream to provide a preview of what players can expect to find in that version.

Although Chinese players already had a chance to try out the game and footage from that isn’t hard to come by, this will be NTE’s opportunity to impress an audience around the globe with a hands-on experience, so a lot is riding on this.

Hotta will likely go through the content players can expect to find in the Containment Test, such as which parts of the storyline, how much of the life sim and vehicle systems, and which of the playable characters will be available in this version of the game.
