HoYoverse announced that the closed beta test of Petit Planet, its upcoming cozy game, will start on November 7, 2025. The so-called Coziness Test will be available on PC and iOS — sign-ups are still open on the game’s website.

Petit Planet is officially confirmed to come to PC, iOS, Android, and more platforms. HoYoverse itself stated that the team is “actively expanding its multi-platform development” in the press release announcing the closed beta start date. These additional platforms are yet to be revealed in detail, but according to insiders speaking to DBLTAP a Nintendo Switch version is among these.

HoYoverse’s official description of Petit Planet reads as follows:

In Petit Planet, players are entrusted to nurture a planet of their own and build connections with different planets scattered across the starry sky. The journey begins on each player's planet, where fuzzy neighbors can connect their own Planettes to it. As bonds deepen and planets flourish, Luca, the planet’s vitality, shall shape different landscapes and brim with life and energy for each unique planet.

The idyllic life in Petit Planet is filled with creativity, companionship, and exploration. Cultivate and receive unexpected harvests beneath the stars, fish in crystalline waters, comb the beach and shallows for rare catches, or even unlock tasty recipes with bold mixes of ingredients. As curiosity guides your daily activities, your bond with Neighbors who were invited to settle on the planet also deepens. Each of them bears their own stories and dreams and contributes to the vitality and growth of the planet. When you embark on Starsea Voyages to unexplored Islets in your vehicle, these Neighbors serve as your most reliable companions.

Aside from this core gameplay, Petit Planet will contain a social multiplayer element, allowing users to interact with each other in a hub area called the Galactic Bazaar. The hub also offers co-op rhythm mini-games to play together.
