The ZZZ 2.1 special program will be broadcast on July 4, 2025, and introduce the new update’s content along with “a mysterious surprise,” according to the announcement post. What might the developers have in store this time around?

ZZZ 2.1 livestream: what to expect

So, what can we expect from ZZZ 2.1? HoYoverse already confirmed that two S-Rank Agents will join the roster of playable characters, both representing Spook Shack, a new faction. The first is Ukinami Yuzuha, a Support Agent dealing Physical DMG, and the second is Alice Thymefield, an Anomaly Agent dealing Physical DMG.

A player recently got glitched under the surface of Failume Heights and spotted a hidden beachside area that appears to be a work-in-progress. With ZZZ 2.1’s artwork feeling very summer-oriented due to its oceanic imagery, this find may well be connected to it and may indicate that Failume Heights will be expanded in the upcoming version.

Aside from that, the livestream will drop the usual promo code for extra Polychromes and introduce us to the upcoming story chapter.
