ZZZ 2.3 release time, preload, and server maintenance details

Version 2.3 of Zenless Zone Zero will be released this week, bringing reinforcements to Spook Shack and the roster of available Rupture Agents, ensuring that Yixuan won’t feel as lonely.

Players can look forward to the addition of S-Rank Agents Lucia and Yidhari as well as A-Rank Agent Komano Manato, who’ll also get an alternate outfit players can unlock by completing the new Main Story Chapter. He’s not the only one pulling up with fresh drip: Vivian doesn’t want to miss out on the beach fun with Phaethon and gets a belated swimsuit outfit.

Another big item on the agenda is the next buff for an older character: Soldier 0 - Anby will receive several boosts to help her performance on the battlefield.

ZZZ 2.3 – server downtime

The Zenless Zone Zero servers are scheduled to go offline on October 15, 2025, at 6am (UTC+8) in preparation for update 2.3. Here’s what that means for your timezone:

The ZZZ server downtime is planned to last for five hours, so you’ll be able to jump into the new content right afterwards.

ZZZ 2.3 – release time

HoYoverse doesn’t usually need any more time than the scheduled five hours, so here’s when ZZZ 2.3 should be available in your timezone under normal circumstances:

Each hour of server downtime will be compensated with 60 Polychromes, so you can expect to receive at least 300 Polychromes for the inconvenience. In case maintenance takes longer than usual or bugs that impacted the player experience in the previous version have been fixed, you’ll receive additional Polychromes. Make sure to check your inbox and claim your currency while Version 2.3 is ongoing, as it’ll vanish into a Hollow afterwards.

The preload for Zenless Zone Zero update 2.3 is now available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. By downloading the update’s files ahead of time, you can cut down on your waiting time on the day of the patch, enabling you to get back into the action more quickly.
