Every season in Apex Legends also marks the release of a new Legend. In Season 11, Ash was released, and in Season 12 fans are anticipating Fuse's childhood friend we've previously seen, Mad Maggie. Respawn Entertainment has yet to fully announce more about the new legend for Season 12, however fans are anticipating the release of Maggie since her voice and appearance is familiar with fans already.

2. PS5 and Xbox Series X Version

Rumors say that PS5 is getting its own version of Apex Legends that maximizes 120 FPS, compared to what PS5 players now using backwards compatibility. This rumor also questioned if there would be the same treatment for Xbox Series X users.

3. New Weapons

New weapons are always fun to test and play around with. In the past new seasons have released the debut of weapons like the Rampage, Bocek Bow and most recently the C.A.R. SMG in Season 11. The reception of the C.A.R. SMG was relatively high, with its flexibility in using either Heavy Rounds or Light Rounds and its high DPS.

4. Crypto Buff

Crypto is a legend that isn't as popular among players and Respawn Entertainment has been trying to make Crypto more balanced. Previously developers have mentioned a rework on Crypto, but no announcement or official statement has been made. Recently an Apex Legends modder showcased what an AI version of Crypto's drone might be like.

5. New Maps and Game Modes

Season 11 included the release of the new map, Storm Point. Later in the Dark Depths event, Respawn announced Habitat 4, an Arenas map that is a smaller island in the same archipelago as Storm Point. This could mean more maps and game modes that take place on islands or on different parts of this archipelago.
