League of Legends Patch 10.18 is coming and there are some bot lane duos players need to avoid at all costs if they want to climb the Ranked ladder. Bot lane is in a precarious position right now -- bad bot lanes will almost surely lose games, while good bot lanes have difficulties carrying.

Either way, its important to not give away free kills, so lets take a look at some bot lanes that make it extremely difficult to stay afloat.

5 Worst Bot Lane Duos in League of Legends Patch 10.18

Varus and Poppy

Varus is far from the dominant ADC he was earlier in Season 10. While he maintains his ability to crowd control targets, his damage is way down and he struggles to kill targets. Poppy, on the other hand, also locks down targets and lacks damage. The combo has relatively low kill pressure and should be avoided whenever possible.

Syndra and Brand

While both of these champions can output a lot of damage, they're extremely vulnerable to ganks. The only peel that this comp can provide is from Syndra's E -- clearly not enough to reliably defend their position. Because this comp is so susceptible to any type of crowd control, their damage never really gets a chance to shine.

Kalista and Yuumi

Kalista's ultimate involved sling-shotting her support forward causing a knock-up. While its best used with a tank support, its completely useless on Yuumi. The move is only able to be executed if Yuumi detaches from Kalista and becomes exposed. Since the two champions have literal opposite goals in lane, they simply don't mix.

Heimerdinger and Pyke

Speaking of opposite goals in lane, look no further than Heimerdinger and Pyke. Heimerdinger looks to place down turrets in a "hold your ground" fashion. He aims to create a deadly zone where enemies can take fire from up to three turrets at a time. This is much different from Pyke -- one of the most aggressive and dive-happy supports in the game. When Pyke extends to find a kill, Heimerdinger has no follow up.

Tristana and Soraka

Tristana's hyper mobility can create some issues for Soraka. Since Soraka is very immobile, she is often left in the dust by Tristana's Rocket Jump (W). It's hard for Tristana to make any plays without one of the two overextending and leaving themselves open to being killed. As a result, the lane doesn't gel well and should probably be avoided.
