One second into the trailer and players can already decipher where the action is about to go down— World's Edge, which is on the brink of some major changes in Emergence.

Voiced by Iké Amadi, who also plays Waimai in Rainbow Six Siege, the Prowler in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Shao Kahn and Cyrax in Mortal Kombat 11, Seer begins his monologue on the importance of embracing change.

From Mirage to Bloodhound and Loba, we are shown the humble beginnings of some of the game's most beloved characters. Soon enough, Seer steps into the volcanic spotlight with his microdrones and artist's eye as the chaos begins.

Change, I see it in everything. ... Change is relentless. But that does not mean it cannot be beautiful.

Amidst an avalanche destroying all in its path, Seer effortlessly traverses the wreckage before taking down Fuse, who then gets his head cut off by a leaping Bloodhound.

Corned in, Wattson and Caustic try to hold their ground, but are taken down by a Valkyrie-Seer wombo combo.

A crouched Horizon tries to get an easy snipe on Seer, but is saved at the last second by Octane, who ultimately dodges a fatal fate for the first time in an Apex Legends trailer.

Seer then kicks Crypto into a lava pit before taking over a gunfight alongside Loba and Rampart against Revenant, Wraith and Bangalore.

In the closing seconds of the short, we get the reveal date for the Apex Legends: Emergence Gameplay Trailer—July 26, 2021.
