Apex Legends Fans Call for Removal of Prowlers from Ranked
Some Apex Legends fans have been recently calling for the removal of Prowlers from the Ranked game mode. With Developers already claiming that changes could be coming to Ranked, this could be a big one.
A Reddit post was created on Nov. 11, featuring mixed reactions to the idea of Prowlers being removed.
Some agreed with the idea, mentioning how the Prowlers can get annoying if there's a nest in the final circle of a Ranked match. One reddit user commented how you have to go through a Prowler gate in almost every rotation, and on top of that, their detection range is very large. Even if you're 70 meters from them, they can detect and attack you and your squad, which can be a problem if you're already fleeing from enemy players.
On the other hand, quite a lot of players went to the defense of the prowlers, saying that they "spice up the game a bit." While they can be annoying when you're already battling a squad, they can be baited into interfering with another pair of squads' battling it out. This gives you the chance to swoop in and get some easy kills and loot if you can hold your own.
Some players even got hostile on Twitter, with one saying that players should just "get good" and to stop complaining and "JUST ADAPT!"

There are a lot of different opinions on the Prowlers of Apex Legends, and Respawn is known for receiving plenty of feedback and criticism on the game, so who knows if we'll see changes.
