New leaks have hinted at a Revenant Reborn character coming to Apex Legends. Here's what we know so far.

Respawn broke away from tradition with the latest Apex Legends season by not introducing a new Legend into Season 16. Instead, the developers focused on a new class rework system, which saw existing Legends categorized and adjusted to fit into one of five classes: Assault, Recon, Skirmisher,  Controller and Support.

But while no new characters are slated for this season, leakers have uncovered what seems to be an alternative version of Revenant — Revenant Reborn. This new version is also set to feature wall-running as an ability, something fans have been calling for in Apex for some time.

What is Revenant Reborn in Apex Legends?

Apex leaker ThordanSmash claims to have spoken with playtesters who shed some light on Revenant Reborn. “There is a character select where they are getting a unique Revenant whose Ultimate is a one-on-one fight in the void with whoever it hits,” he said.

“What we’re theorizing right now, is that this is going to be the shadow Revenant from the Halloween mode as it does fit with the ultimate wall-running.”

It seems unclear whether or not Revenant Reborn will be an entirely new character or part of a LTM, however there seems to be some abilities tied to it, such as a wall-running passive ability.

The leaks suggest that there could also be a tactical ability, either as a sling-shot-style ability or teleportation. The Ultimate ability is set to be a one-on-one dual, in which enemies hit by the ability will be ported to a void where the dual commences. The ability has apparently cropped up in the past and has been playtested, suggesting that this could be more solid information.
