Apex Legends Season 16: All Buffs and Nerfs Listed

Respawn Entertainment

Apex Legends: Revelry, the game's 16th season, is set to drop on Feb. 14. As part of the season shake-up, players can expect a variety of buffs and nerfs to effect their favorite Legends and weapons.

There's going to be a lot of changes in Apex Legends once Season 16 rolls out. The biggest one of the lot is arguably the changes to the game's Class system. According to Respawn, all Legends will be receiving adjustments, but also a rework to the Class system that's being called “Remastered Legend Classes.”

Players will be introduced to the following five Classes:

  • Assault
  • Recon
  • Skirmisher
  • Controller
  • Support

Each class is set to have "some kind of meaningful, unique perk." As an example, the perk could affect the way a Legend can interact with new loot bins or a new way to revive teammates.

But with these changes, there needs to be some kind of rework for the game's existing Legends in order to pigeonhole them into one of the new categories. Players can expect a number of buffs and nerfs as part of Season 16.

Apex Legends Season 16: All Buffs and Nerfs Listed

So far, it seems seven Legends will be hugely affected by the seasonal changes, getting significant buffs and nerfs: Bloodhound, Horizon, Lifeline, Mirage, Pathfinder, Seer and Wraith.

Bloodhound

  • Bloodhound’s Ultimate Ability, Beast of the Hunt, will no longer speed up their Tactical Ability charge.
  • It will now find “ethereal white ravens around the map”. These ravens will fly in the direction of the closest enemy, when interacted with.

Horizon

  • Accuracy when firing during Horizon’s Tactical Ability, Gravity Lift, has been reduced.
  • The speed at which she ascends into the air has been increased.

Lifeline

  • Significant reduction to the ‘slow penalty’ when activating revive.
  • Significantly increased drop speed and range of the Care Package Ultimate Ability.

Mirage

  • After reviving, Mirage and the revived ally will be cloaked for 3 seconds, as long as the player is unarmed. Drawing a weapon breaks the cloak.
  • When a clone is shot, the enemy will now be tracked by a small icon for a short time.

Pathfinder

  • Pathfinder’s zipline range and speed has been increased “significantly.”

Seer

  • Seer’s Ultimate Ability, Exhibit, will be nerfed "pretty hard," according to Respawn. Affecting cooldown and duration.
  • Seer’s Passive Ability, Heart Seeker, will now have a charge up time. It is also no longer a ‘constant’, but comes and goes with the ‘pulses’ of enemies it detects. It will also be audible to nearby enemies.

Wraith

  • Wraith can now place the portal twice as far as before.

Apex Legends Season 16: Revelry will launch on Feb. 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via EA App and Steam.
