The best Vanguard MG42 weapon loadout guide for Warzone Pacific Season 1 is here for those who want to make sure they're using the fully optimized version of one of the newest LMGs in the game.

With Raven Software's latest wave of weapon balancing patches, there have been many Vanguard weapons rapidly entering and departing the fresh meta. Among those starting to impress players has been the new MG42, which is advertised in-game as an "extreme rate-of-fire LMG able to suppress enemy forces at medium range." Here are the attachments to use for the best MG42 loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Best MG42 Weapon Loadout Warzone Pacific Season 1

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: VDD 890MM 32M Luftschutz
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 6.5 Sakura 125 Round Drums
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Optic: G16 2.5x
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Stock: VDD 64M
  • Perk 1: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Starting off the build, the F8 Stabilizer is a great muzzle to use here as it increases the MG42's accuracy and damage range.

Next, we'd go with the VDD 890MM 32M Luftschutz barrel for the boosts it provides to its recoil control, accuracy, scope sway, gun bob and flinch resistance.

With the underbarrel, we went with the m1941 Hand Stop as it helps out with the gun's recoil control and hip-fire accuracy.

For the magazine, we'd go with the 6.5 Sakura 125 Round Drums attachment as it buffs its recoil control, accuracy, movement speed, ADS speed and fire rate.

We'd also go with the Lengthened ammo type as it negates some of the bullet velocity hit we took with the Sakura rounds.

While the optic ultimately comes down to personal preference, the G16 2.5x is a great sight for this medium-to-long-range build.

Add on the Polymer Grip as well, as it improves the MG42's flinch resistance, and accuracy and recoil during sustained fire.

We also recommend choosing the VDD 64M stock to further improve the MG42's accuracy, flinch resistance, recoil control and aiming stability.

Lastly, for the MG42's two weapon perks, we'd opt for Tight Grip and Fully Loaded to allow you to run around Caldera mowing down enemies as easily as possible.
