Season Six of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has officially been revealed, giving players a full-on, in-depth preview of what's to come in the new content wave starting next week.

Activision releases a roadmap for each season prior to the update going live. The rundown showcases new weapons, modes, features, and more for the new season. That doesn't necessarily mean everything in the roadmap is going to be available on day one, however, considering Activision saves some features for later in the season.

While last time around, Activision focused on the unveiling of their Double Agent mode and new battle royale Perks, it appears Season 6's main course consists of the Black Ops Cold War Zombies conclusion and a new Clan system in Warzone. Now, with the roadmap released, here's what Call of Duty fans can expect to see in Season Six.

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 6 Roadmap Released

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

Two new Operators in Alex Mason and Perseus Operative “Fuze” are set to arrive in Season 6 across both titles.

In addition, five new weapons will be a part of the Season 6 content drop. While the .410 Ironhide lever-action Shotgun, "reliable midrange" Grav Assault Rifle and Battle Axe will be available at launch, a "prototypical bullpup" SMG and a set of melee tools are set to drop later in the fall with the mid-season Reloaded update.

Some other things to look out for are the return of the fan-favorite "The Haunting" Halloween event from Oct. 19 through Nov. 2, and four additional Prestiges for players to achieve, from Level 200 all the way to Level 1,000.

Black Ops Cold War

As leaked and teased in the weeks leading up to Thursday's official reveal, Black Ops Cold War Zombies will be working towards its conclusion in the form of Forsaken, the final round-based map in the title's mode, the tenth and final Zombies Perk called PhD Slider, a new Wonder Weapon called the Chrysalax, a new Main Quest and more.

Three new maps will also be coming to Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer at launch. On day one of Season 6, Deprogram (6v6), Amerika (6v6) and Gluboko (2v2 and 3v3) will all be available. Whereas in past roadmaps, where Activision also revealed some maps that would be releasing down the line, it appears they're keeping their cards close by for now.

Warzone

Coming to Warzone specifically in Season 6 are several new POIs on Verdansk '84, where Stadium and Downtown have reportedly been cracked open to reveal "strange and previously unknown WWII-era bunkers."

Additionally, the Gulag has received a refresh once again, this time taking place in an undisclosed and sectioned-off level of the Zordaya Prison Complex inspired by the original 1v1 maps from when the mode first released in 2019.

Lastly, in preparation for the new season, Regiments will be frozen a day in advance as Activision looks to implement a new, "more rewarding" Clan system based around playing with friends and fellow community members in Warzone. After Oct. 6, players will only be able to view their Regiment Roster and inspect players. Players will not be able to create, manage, switch, or invite people to their Regiments, use Regiment Tags or receive Happy Hour rewards after this date. If a player is in multiple Regiments, they'll have until Oct. 5 to ensure that they are “Active” in the one they wish to stay in through Vanguard’s launch on Nov. 5. More details on the Clan system are said to be coming in the near future.
