The Warzone Season 1 Reloaded meta got wiped away as soon as Warzone Season 2 dropped on Feb. 7, 2024. The RAM-7 Assault Rifle, BAS-B Battle Rifle, and HRM-9 SMG all got nerfed in the latest weapon updates, paving the way for new options to take over Battle Royale and Resurgence. Along with the long list of weapon buffs and nerfs, Warzone Season 2 also introduced two new guns, including the BP50 Assault Rifle, that both casual and professional players quickly deemed the new meta.

Warzone content creator, James "JGOD" Godoy, describes the BP50 as not only a solid long-range option, but also a "great" sniper support weapon. After just one day, he proclaims the assault rifle is a "meta contender" for both Battle Royale and Resurgence. The weapon "kills fast" and "does not move very much."
The one drawback to the BP50 is the 45 Round Mag. In Resurgence Trios or Quads, you will likely run out of ammo before you manage to eliminate an entire team. Even so, the weapon is too good to ignore—just be prepared to reload a little more often than you might want.
How to Unlock BP50 in Warzone Season 2
To unlock the BP50 Assault Rifle in Warzone Season 2, fans must complete Battle Pass Sector B7. Fortunately, the weapon is one of the free rewards in the base Battle Pass, so you do not need to upgrade your Battle Pass to receive the AR.
Those who upgrade their Battle Pass for 1,100 COD points will receive a total of 1,400 free COD points once they complete the pass.
