Does Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have crossplay?

Shown off during the closing moments of the E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward show, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora invites players to travel and explore the world of Pandora first popularized in the franchise's 2009 film directed by James Cameron. With the game set to release on a wide range of consoles and PC, here's the latest on whether or not Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will have crossplay.

Does Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Have Crossplay?

At the time of writing, little has been revealed from Ubisoft about just how many players the upcoming game's first person, action-adventure will be designed to support. Until we know whether or not Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is simply single-player or will have multiplayer capabilities, it remains to be seen whether or not crossplay will even be on the table for the game.

Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine to be Ubisoft's first next-gen-only game, we do know that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will have a high bar set for itself to deliver from a graphics standpoint for those long awaiting an opportunity to explore the world first showcased in the widely popular movie.

In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.
